IU JCD gets new committee

A 39-member new convening committee of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia unit of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has announced today after a gap of five years.

Masud Rumi Mithun, a student of the English department from the 2011-12 academic session, has made convener, while Rafiz Ahmed, a student of the Finance and Banking department from the 2018-19 academic session, has been appointed member secretary in the newly formed committee. Anowar Parvez, has been made senior joint-convener of the committee of the Statistics and Data Science department from the 2011-12 academic session.

A press release issued by JCD central president Md Rakibul Islam Rakib and general secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir in this regard on Wednesday.

The committee will conduct all activities under the signatures of the convener, senior joint-convener, and member secretary, and has been instructed to form a full-fledged convening committee within 30 days.

The newly formed committee also includes Nur Uddin, Abdullah Al Mamun, Sabbir Hossain, Abu Sayeed Roniy, Rakib Hasan Swakkhor, Towhidul Islam, Tapas Adhikari, Tanvir Siddique, Al Amin, Rifat Hossain, Arifur Islam Jony, Asad Towfique, Nayan Hossain, Syed Mohammad Ali, and Sanvir Anik as joint-conveners of the committee.

Additionally, the members of the committee are- K. M. Abiduzzaman, Sahriar Rashid Niloy, Riaz Uddin, Mehmud Hasan Utsa, Ashik Iqbal, Sojib Hossain, Rezaul Islam, Zinnat Maliat Seema, Ismam Hossain Tondra, Mohammad Amir, Mahfuza Khatun, Joynob Ferdous Jinia, Nokibul Islam Ongkon, Azharul Islam, Enamul Haque Pulok, Saifullah, Alinur Rahman, Abdullah Al Noman, Shahinur Rahman Shuvo, Robin Miah, and Rubayet Ahmed Limon.
