Meet on Consumer Rights Act held in Pabna

PABNA, Apr 2: A meeting on the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 was held in the district. 
The meeting was held at the Shaheed Abdus Sattar Auditorium of Government Edward College on Thursday afternoon to raise awareness among teachers, students and youth.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the Pabna District Branch of the Consumer Association of Bangladesh (CAB), Journalist ABM Fazlur Rahman, and the Principal of Government Edward College, Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman, spoke as the chief guest.

The special guests were the Vice-Principal of Government Edward College, Professor Md. Abdullah Al Mamun and the President of the Teachers' Association, Dr. Kalim Uddin.

The keynote address on the Consumer Rights Act was delivered at the event, and the quiz was conducted among students, teachers and youth by Mahmud Hasan Rony, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Protection Department, Pabna. 

The programme was hosted by Journalist Shafiq Al Kamal, Joint Secretary of Consumer Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Pabna District Branch. 

Later, awards were given to the 10 winners by Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman.
