BOU holds discussion to raise student enrolment

KISHOREGANJ, Apr 2: The Bangladesh Open University (BOU) administration has organised a discussion meeting on Thursday at the BOU Kishoreganj Sub-Regional Office in Nagua to increase student enrolment and enhance the quality of education.

In response to declining student numbers at the secondary level, reduced interest in admissions, and challenges in the teaching-learning process, the initiative was taken.

The BOU has been organising such discussion meetings across country for increasing its enrolment. 

Director of the BOU Mymensingh Regional Office Md. Ashraful Islam attended the event as the chief guest while Professor Aziz Ahmed Humayun, Vice-Principal of Government Women's College, Kishoreganj attended it as special guest and Md. Habibur Rahman, Joint Director of the Kishoreganj Sub-Regional Office chaired the session.

During the discussion session, several participants presented constructive suggestions to improve educational standards and boost student enrolment.
