Sonargaon BNP leader passes away

SONARGAON, NARAYANGANJ, Apr 23: Former chairman of Pirojpur Union Parishad in Sonargaon Upazila of the district and former vice-president of Pirojpur Union BNP, Haji Sirajul Haque Bhuiyan, passed away due to a heart attack at his home in Dudhghata Village of Pirojpur at 6 am on Thursday. He was 65.

He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, 1 daughter, grandchildren, relatives and many well-wishers. He was buried in the family graveyard after the funeral prayers at Balurmath, adjacent to Dudhghata stand in Pirojpur, on Thursday afternoon.

Narayanganj-3 Constituency MP and Sonargaon Upazila BNP President Azharul Islam Mannan, former MP Professor Rezaul Karim, offered condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased.
