Capstone Course-2026 ends

The Capstone Course-2026, an intensive three-week strategic leadership programme from April 5 to April 23 has concluded at the National Defense College (NDC) on Thursday. 

Chief of the Army Staff of Bangladesh Army General Waker-Uz-Zaman graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates among the Capstone Fellows, said an ISPR press release. 

A total of 45 fellows including parliamentarians, senior military and police officers, eminent academics, senior doctors, senior government and non-governmental officers, diplomats and corporate leaders participated in the course. 

In his address, General Waker-Uz-Zaman congratulated all the fellows on their successful completion of the course. He urged all the fellows to uphold the constitutional responsibilities, strengthen national security and pursue the sustainable development of Bangladesh. 

Lt Gen Md Faizur Rahman, Commandant of the NDC, emphasized the importance of informed dialogue and consensus-building on matters of national importance. The Fellows' active, thoughtful and respectful engagement throughout the course has broadened strategic understanding and strengthened a national network of cross-sector leadership.
