Seminar on fact-checking held in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, May 16: The Khulna Regional Press Information Department (PID) organised a seminar on 'Awareness and Fact-Checking to Ensure the Truth of Information' for the media workers of the district in the Bagerhat Press Club conference room on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Golam Md Baten was present as the chief guest in the seminar chaired by Khulna PID Deputy Head ASM Kabir. 

Bagerhat District Information Office Deputy Director Muinul Islam, Bagerhat Press Club President Abu Sayeed Shunu and General Secretary M Hedayet Hossain Liton were present as special guests. 

Khulna Senior Information Officer Mehedi Hasan presented the keynote paper at the seminar. Khulna Information Officer Md Ramzan Ali conducted the seminar.
