US embassy to issue immigrant visas within 2 days

The US Embassy in Dhaka has announced a significant acceleration in its visa processing services, effective from Monday (June 1). 

Under the new guidelines, the embassy aims to complete the immigrant visa issuance process within just two days.

The embassy shared this update on Sunday, stating that the expedited two-day timeline will apply to all immigrant visa categories. The move is part of an effort to streamline procedures and reduce waiting times for applicants seeking to move to the United States.

Travelers and applicants have been advised to consult the official immigrant visa directory on the embassy's website for specific details and further instructions. 

The embassy encouraged those with pending applications or inquiries to review the updated guidelines to ensure a smooth processing experience under the new system.
