Train kills minor in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, June 6: A five-year-old girl Sabiha Khanam was killed after being hit by a train in Byaspur Dakkhinpara Village of Maheshpur Union in Kashiani Upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased was the daughter of Shipon Fakir of the village. She died on the spot after being hit by a Rajshahi-bound train from Gopalganj.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kashiani Police Station Md Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the incident.
