JOYPURHAT, June 16: Keeping in mind the slogan “Skilled youth will build the country, change Bangladesh”, the certificate distribution and closing ceremony of the 26-day driving training conducted by Joypurhat Zilla Parishad among 40 young men and women was held at the Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday morning.
The Zilla Parishad organised the driving training with the overall support of the District Department of Youth Development (DYD).
The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was presided over by Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad Sarkar Mohammad Raihan. The Zilla Parishad Administrator and Senior Joint Convener of District BNP Md Masud Rana Pradhan spoke as the chief guest at the ceremony and handed over the certificates to the trainees. Maksudul Kabir, Deputy Director of the District DYD, spoke as the special guest.
In his speech, Masud Rana Pradhan said that there is no alternative to skill. Therefore, skilled youth can change Bangladesh.
He also said that the current government led by Tarique Rahman is implementing various programmes to develop the skills of the youth. Later, certificates were distributed among 40 young women and men who received training.
