Meet on ‘drug aggression’ held in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, June 21: A discussion meeting titled “Drug aggression in Pirojpur, our role”, organised by Pirojpur Press Club, in collaboration with Zilla Parishad, was held at Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday morning. 

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Sayed attended the programme as the chief guest, while Superintendent of Police Mohammed Monjur Ahmed Siddique, Zilla Parishad Administrator Principal Alamgir Hossainm and Additional Deputy Magistrate Tanzila Kabir Tropa were present as special guests. Pirojpur Press Club President SM Rezaul Islam Shamim chaired the meeting. 

Among others, Govt. Suhrawardy College Principal Sheikh Rafiqul Islam, Govt. Mahila College Principal Panna Lal Roy, District BNP Member Secretary SM Saidul Islam Kismat and Pirojpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries President and BNP leader Gazi Ohiduzzman Lavlu spoke.
