Inu brought to court as verdict looms

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) is going to announce its judgment in a crimes against humanity case against former Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu over the killings of six people in Kushtia during the July Mass Uprising.

Centring the judgement, Inu was brought to the tribunal at about 10:30AM from the prison.

The three-member Tribunal-2, headed by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, is expected to announce the judgment.

The ICT-2 on November 2, 2025, indicted Hasanul Haque Inu in the case lodged over the killings of six people in Kushtia during the July-August Mass Uprising. 

The tribunal framed eight specific charges against the accused.
