Free medical camp held at Patharghata

PATHARGHATA, BARGUNA, July 2: A day-long free health check-up and medical service programme, in cooperation with Medicare Diagnostic Centre, was held at the Kalomegha Khankaye Salehiya Diniya Complex in Patharghata Upazila of the district on Thursday, on the occasion of the second death anniversary of the late Pir Sahib Hazrat Maulana Shah Mohammad Mohebullah (RA).
About 200 poor people of the area, including students of the complex, received free medical services in the camp held from 9 am to 1 pm from the Resident Medical Officer of the Medicare Diagnostic Centre, Dr Bellal Hossain Jewel.

Mawlana Abdus Sattar, director of Kalomegha Khankaye Salehiya Diniya Complex, said that various public welfare programmes are held every year, keeping in mind the late Pir Saheb's ideals of human service and social welfare.
