GALACHIPA, PATUAKHALI, July 5: Financial assistance and dry food were distributed among critically ill, underprivileged and impoverished people in Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali on Saturday.
The distribution programme was held at the hallroom of the Upazila Parishad's extended administrative building and was organised by the upazila administration.
State Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Md Nurul Haque attended the event as the chief guest and handed over financial assistance cheques and food packages to the beneficiaries.
The programme was chaired by Galachipa Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abuzar Md Ejajul Haque.
A total of 67 beneficia Convener Md Hafizur Rahman.
