Three passenger flights were diverted after failing to land at Shah Amanat International Airport due to adverse weather on Tuesday.

According to airport authorities, US-Bangla Airlines flight BS350 from Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia flight G9-526 from Sharjah were diverted to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after they were unable to land in Chattogram.

Meanwhile, Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG121 from Dhaka attempted to land in Chattogram but returned to Dhaka because of the poor weather.

Airport Public Relations Officer Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil said flight operations would resume as normal once weather conditions improve.
