The US has launched strikes on Tehran after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy attacked a Cyprus-flagged ship in the Strait of Hormuz. There are fears that Iran could launch attacks in the Gulf regions after the attack. In such a situation, warnings have been issued in Bahrain and Qatar.
Bahrain's Interior Ministry sounded sirens and urged residents to remain calm and quickly seek shelter in the nearest safe place, according to Middle East Eye
Qatar's Ministry of Interior said that the country's security risk level is currently very high. Therefore, everyone has been urged to follow security instructions and stay at home or in safe places.
Earlier, Iran responded to the US attack by launching missiles and drones at US military installations in the Gulf. Bahrain hosts a major US naval base, while Qatar hosts the largest US military base in the Middle East.
