BGB seizes Indian liquor and large cache of drugs in Daulatpur border drive
Kushthia Battalion (47 BGB) conducted successful drive as part of its continuous operations against smuggling and drug trafficking in the border area.
Based on specific and reliable intelligence, a smart patrol team from the Kazipur BOP under 47 BGB conducted a special raid. The operation took place in the Kazipur Border Para field area under its jurisdiction.
The team recovered 6 bottles of Indian liquor, 400 pieces of Dexamethasone tablets, and 4,000 pieces of Cyproheptadine tablets in an abandoned state.
The estimated seizure value of the recovered narcotics is Tk 13,29,000. The seized goods have been handed over to the concerned authorities following proper legal procedures.
Kushtia Battalion (47 BGB) continues to perform its duties with maximum professionalism, alertness, and determination to curb smuggling, drug trafficking, and other border crimes. Regular operations and intelligence activities of the BGB will continue in the future to ensure border security and build a drug-free society.
