Murder case plaintiff dies from beating

NARAYANGANJ, July 19: A man named Md Fazlul Haque, the plaintiff of the case of his son Faruk’s murder occurred about a year ago, who was allegedly beaten and seriously injured in the Godnail Syedpara Canalpar area in Siddhirganj of the district on Friday night, died at his home on Sunday morning after returning from the Khanpur 300-bed Government Hospital in Narayanganj.

The accused in the case had been pressuring and threatening Fazlul Haque for a long time to compromise. Therefore, the family suspected that the attack might be premeditated. The police have arrested a person named Md Robin in this incident, and a drive is on to arrest the remaining accused.

On information, the police sent the body to the morgue for an autopsy. However, no written complaint has been filed with the police station by the victim’s family so far.
