Child student injured in Paikgachha motorcycle accident

A first-grade student named Sumaiya was severely injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Paikgachha upazila of Khulna, suffering broken teeth and facial injuries.

The accident took place around 8:30AM on Sunday, August 2 in front of the Golajia Club under Chandkhali Union of the upazila.The victim is the daughter of Hasibur Sardar.

Locals said Sumaiya met with the accident while crossing the road to buy food from a local shop. She is a first-grade student at Gojalia Government Primary School.

The identity of the motorcyclist could not be identified yet. The injured child sustained injuries to her teeth, hands, and face.

Locals rescued her and immediately admitted her to the Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor referred her to Khulna Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
