Young man found dead in Joypurhat

A 27-year-old young man has died in Padmapukur, Khetlal, Joypurhat, while a 22-year-old was rescued; police believe that the deceased was beaten to death.
He added, the gang consists of nine members who attacked them, and afterwards, he fainted. But upon regaining consciousness, he saw that Badsha was lying beside him.
According to the information received from the locals that they found the two were lying on the road while they went out for fishing to a nearby field on Saturday morning. They then informed the police and the law enforcers recovered the body of Badsha and rescued Majedul Islam, who was also injured.
Majedul Islam inform the police that he and Badsha were kidnapped from near a petrol pump at Jamalganj Charmatha on Friday afternoon and then kept hostages. They were later taken to Padmapukur in the midnight by motorbike.
He added, the gang consists of nine members who attacked them, and afterwards, he fainted. But upon regaining consciousness, he saw that Badsha was lying beside him.
OC Khetlal Muktarul Alam said that Badsha’s body was sent for autopsy, and legal proceedings are going on.
