Koel Mallick and Parambrata Chattopadhyay reunite on screen

Popular Bengali actors Koel Mallick and Parambrata Chattopadhyay are set to reunite on screen after a long break, reportedly in a new film for the OTT platform Hoichoi.

The pair have previously won praise for their chemistry in films including Hemlock Society, Highway, Bony and the Joker Dhan series. Koel has also acted in films directed by Parambrata.

According to reports citing industry sources, the upcoming Hoichoi Studios film may be titled Bir Purush and will be directed by Parambrata, who is also expected to act in it.

There are reports that filming has already begun, although neither Koel nor Parambrata has officially confirmed the project.

Koneenica Banerjee and Rajatabha Dutta are also expected to appear in important roles, according to the reports.

Koel’s recent film Swarthopor was successful, while Parambrata was last seen in Hawa Bodol 2.
