Cleanliness drive held at HAU

HABIGANJ, Sept 16: A cleanliness drive was held at Habiganj Agricultural University (HAU) on Tuesday to promote a clean, healthy and hygienic campus environment.

The program began at 4:30 pm on the university premises. Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Mozammel Haque and Pro VC Professor Dr Mohammad Ismail Hossain attended.

Teachers, students, officers and employees from various university departments took part in the drive. Participants removed waste from different areas of the campus and raised awareness about maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Speaking at the event, VC Professor Dr Md Mozammel Haque said it is everyone’s responsibility to create a beautiful, clean and healthy learning environment. He said the university is not only a place for acquiring knowledge but also for developing responsibility, discipline and environmental awareness.

He urged the university community to maintain cleanliness regularly and encourage others to do the same.
