State Minister announces Tk 1cr grant for Abu Sayed's home

State Minister Mir Shahe Alam, in-charge of Rangpur, announced a Tk 1 crore grant to construct a new house for the family of Shaheed Abu Sayed and beautify his graveyard on Tuesday (September 29).

The announcement was made during his visit to Abu Sayed's home in Babanpur village under Pirganj upazila in Rangpur, where he offered prayers at the martyr's grave and met with his parents.

Highlighting Abu Sayed's role as a driving force behind the mass uprising, the State Minister noted that his sacrifice remains an enduring inspiration for the youth, adding that the government is working to eliminate long-standing negligence toward northern Bangladesh.

He instructed the Rangpur District Commissioner to prepare the necessary designs to execute the Tk 1 crore development project through the local district administration.

Mentionable, Mir Shahe Alam criticized the 11-party alliance's street programs, alleging that they were carrying out unnecessary movements to advance foreign agendas and destabilize the country.
