Youth leader accused of seizing land at Gunpoint

Shahidullah alleged that Jubo Dal leader Hanif used his political influence to mutate the land records and seized their property at gunpoint beyond the designated boundary.

He said they filed a written complaint with Jorarganj Police Station. Police later attempted to resolve the dispute through a meeting, but Hanif allegedly left without following their instructions.

Hanif, a former convener of Mitha­nala Union Jubo Dal, denied the allegations, calling them false and fabricated. He said he had filled the land with soil three years ago and described the allegations as propaganda against him.
