Man stabbed dead in N’ganj

A man was brutally stabbed to death at Fatullah police station area in Narayanganj district on Monday night, reportedly over a longstanding personal dispute.

The deceased was identified as Rayhan, son of Mesher Ali of Galachipa area. He was a professional cook.

The incident occurred at around 8:00 PM near Chashara Railway Station in the Isdair area under Fatulla Police Station. The assailants fled the scene after carrying out the attack in public.

According to the victim's middle son, some unknown assailants stabbed Rayhan in his leg. It is suspected that local drug dealer Razzak may be involved in this fatal attack.

Fatullah Model Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Abu Raihan confirmed the incident and said the body has been sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for an autopsy.

Police are conducting drives to identify those involved, and further details will be revealed after the investigation.
