Reza Hasan named new DC of Sylhet

Cumilla’s Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate Md Reza Hasan has been appointed as Sylhet’s new DC.

The Ministry of Public Administration confirmed the information in a notification issued on Sunday afternoon.

Reza Hasan replaced Sarwoer Alam, who was withdrawn on June 21 last.

Sylhet’s DC Sarwoer’s withdrawal came after he took an initiative to ensure transparency in the financial management of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) shrine in the district. He sealed off three pots and placed a new donation at the shrine.
