Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani on Saturday inspected the Khulna Shipyard Road Expansion and Development Project, reviewing the main road, four sluice gates and the bridge under construction at the entrance to the Rupsha Bridge.
After the inspection, Ghani attended a project implementation meeting at the Khulna Circuit House on the third revised phase of the project.
Before the meeting, he planted a tree sapling on the Circuit House premises.
He also interacted with local residents.
The meeting was attended by Housing and Public Works Secretary Md Nazrul Islam, IMED Secretary Sirajun Noor Chowdhury, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Abdullah Harun, Deputy Commissioner Hure Jannat, Khulna City Corporation Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju, KDA Chairman S.M. Shafiqul Islam, Project Director Md Arman Hossain and other senior officials.
