2 killed as motorcycle hits pedestrian on Bhanga Expressway

The deceased were identified as Hridoy Sheikh, 20, son of Iliyas Sheikh of Chiladhar Char village in Bhanga municipality, and Sakib Sheikh, 22, son of Enayet Sheikh of Nagarkanda municipal area in Faridpur.

According to Bhanga Highway Police Station SI Sohan, Sakib  was travelling from Nagarkanda towards Dhaka on a motorcycle at an estimated speed of around 120 kilometres per hour when the bike struck Hridoy as he was crossing the road. Both died at the scene.

Police recovered the two bodies and the motorcycle after receiving information about the accident. 

The bodies will be handed over to the families after completion of the necessary legal procedures.
