3 detained over murder of Apratim in Cumilla

Police have detained three people for questioning in connection with the killing of 13-year-old Ishiyat Shahriar Apratim, son of Cumilla University (CoU) Bangla Department Associate Professor Dr Nahida Begum.

Earlier, police said they had detained a teenager named Tuhin after examining CCTV footage in connection with the incident.

Tuhin is the son of Nurul Alam of the Sananda area.

Police are questioning the three detainees as part of the investigation into Apratim’s death. Further details about their identities and possible involvement in the incident have not yet been disclosed.
