Dr Kamal Hossain hospitalised

Dr Kamal Hossain, who was chief of the Constitution Drafting Committee, was admitted to the Square Hospital in Dhaka with serious illness on Friday.

Dr Kamal, emeritus president of Gonoforum, is suffering from severe physical weakness and lungs complications, said a party press release.

Gonoforum General Secretary Mizanur Rahman has asked the countrymen to pray for Dr Kamal’s swift recovery.

On Wednesday, Dr Kamal attended the funeral prayers for late BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
