Unidentified man’s body recovered in Bogura pond

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from a pond in Adamdighi upazila of Bogura district on Thursday.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be known, aged approximately 35 old.

According to locals, they spotted the body floating in a pond near a jute warehouse in Dariapur village of Santahar union around noon and informed police.

Being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

Adamdighi Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Ataur Rahman said the cause of death will be confirmed after receiving the autopsy report, and legal action is underway.
