BNP leader Selima Rahman hospitalised after cardiac arrest

BNP Standing Committee Member Begum Selima Rahman has been admitted to United Hospital in the capital after she suffered cardiac arrest.

Currently, she is receiving treatment at the CCU of the hospital, the party's media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed.

He added, Selima Rahman, also the former minister, suddenly suffered cardiac arrest around 10PM on February 19. Later she was admitted to the United Hospital.

Family members and the party have requested prayers from the countrymen for her recovery.
