Three car thieves nabbed in Narayanganj

NARAYANGANJ, June 27: Police have arrested three members of an organised car theft gang in a raid in connection with the recovery of a private car stolen from Adalatpara in Narayanganj. Based on the information provided by them, a total of three stolen cars, including a car stolen from Nangalkot area in Cumilla, were recovered.

Narayanganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Mizanur Rahman Munshi informed this at a press conference held at the District SP’s office on Saturday afternoon.

SP Md Mizanur Rahman Munshi said that the police received a complaint about the theft of a private car parked on the court premises around 11 am on June 26. Based on information from information technology and intelligence, the members of the theft gang were arrested in a raid. Based on the information provided by them, a total of three cars,
